Processing of your personal data – purposes and legal foundations
Data processing within the company
We process personal data on the basis of the data protection regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and, where applicable, the state data protection laws of Germany’s individual federal states. The data of the following groups of persons is processed by the persons within the company responsible in each instance in order to fulfil their particular tasks.
Storage period
Any personal data we store will be deleted in accordance with legal requirements. We delete such data as soon as it is no longer required for the processing purpose, once a given consent is subsequently revoked or any other permissions no longer apply. Data which, for example, is required to be stored for commercial or tax legislation reasons or whose storage is required for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims will be deleted as soon as this is no longer the case.
Rights of data subjects
Whenever we process your personal data, you have the following rights as a data subject:
• a right of access to the data processed and to a copy,
• a right to rectification should we process incorrect data about you,
• a right to deletion, unless exceptions still apply as to why we are still storing the data, e.g. retention requirements or limitation periods
• a right to restrict processing,
• a right to revoke at any time any consent to the data processing,
• a right to object to the processing in the public interest or in response to a legitimate request,
• a right to data portability,
• a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe we are not processing your data properly.
The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Baden-Württemberg is the supervisory authority responsible for our company. Should you be located in a different federal state or outside Germany, you may also contact the data protection authority where you are.
